Alasdair Roberts and Friends play and sing Scottish songs old and new, muckle and wee. Gillebride MacMillan performs Gaelic songs from his native South Uist and beyond. Sokobauno Puppet Theatre and Alasdair Roberts present 'Galoshins', a mummers' play from the Scottish Borders and Central Belt. 'Galoshins' is a gripping story of combat, death and resurrection incorporating live music, puppetry, shadow theatre, an ancient Scottish wonder-tale and carnivalesque laughter.
These new hardy sons of Caledonia have taken the low road all the way from Glasgow to be here; a gallus time is guaranteed for all.
